Hey guys,

I got a question; I am in the process of converting my ZL-30 FEL on my JM 354 to a Prince loader valve. I am buying Metric female to NPT male converter couplings, should I use ½ or 3/8 inch hose? Also if anyone has done this, has the same type/style of tractor and has some pointers, please let me know.

I would also like to hear from anyone who has replaced their Quick Connects. What type, style, size did you replace them with?
Was it hard to do?

Thank you,

Kbone, we have a conversion kit already with a Koyker type valve with float, joystick,6- new hoses with JIC fittings,,new mounting bracket, adaptor fittings, just bolt up and your ready to go,you can install the complete new valve kit in about a hour.Did you already buy the Prince valve?? This is a better valve and set up.We use 1/2" hoses

Based on your hydraulic flow, 3/8" hoses should be adequate. Anything bigger is probably overkill. Make sure you use 2-wire hoses.

Adapter fittings can be had from Discount Hydraulic Hose.

If you don't already have a valve, then Tommy's kit is a good deal.
