Hydraulic cover access

Want to know if anyone has experience on getting the side cover of a E45 open when the pull latch is broken. The clip is still engaged and I can’t seem to jiggle it enough to open so I can repair. Anybody had this happen or any tricks

No personal experience, but if there is a cover on each side, maybe remove the other cover that works and look closely at the latch to see if it helps you figure out a way to unlatch the broken one in the other side.

Got it thanks removed louvre cover took back motor access panel completely off got a long extension and remove bed latch bolt pried bracket away and it opened a 3 hr ordeal but have fixed the mechanism now
