Hydraulic connection problems

I've been having problems connecting the hydraulic hoses for the FEL on my 1528. Most connections are made easily but there always seems to be one stubborn connector. Not sure yet if it's the same one every time. I've determine the problem to be the check valve in the connector. Unlike the check valve on the other connectors, the check valve on the stubborn connector does not depress. Therefore, the connector will not seat fully and make the proper connection. Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem?

Change the connector. The connector should just unscrew from the end fitting on the hose. Total cost = under $10.

Mads right about just changing it. If your loader is still under warranty, get your dealer to give you a new connector.

I wonder if the pressure needed releived? I ask that because he mentioned "not sure if it's the one every time">

I had this same problem on my tractor and what it was... One of the lines to the fitting was bent just a "bit" (more like to much pressure on the line) so the fitting wouldn't slide back to release the fitting from the FEL. All I did was take a wooden handle of a hammer and pushed down on the line and all is fine now, fitting slides in and out nice and easy.
