Do you guys happen to know the HP requirement for each pump? If not, just use the tech help on the Surplus Center's web site. For instance,
steering/lift pump puts out 3 GPM at 3000 psi, at 3600 rpm 6 HP
PTO pump puts out 12 GPM at 3000 psi, at 3600 rpm 25 HP
tram pump put out 7 GPM at 3000 psi, at 3900 rpm. 14 HP
Using a total HP of 45, and that is provided by a 45 HP Ford industrial gas engine, with radiator.
If you had to cheat a little on the replacement pump size, you probably could, because you are not using all function of the machine at the same time. You could also boost HP on the engine using various devices. How, would be up to you. For instance, I could add one of those Garret turbo charges on the output of the exhaust system. Then I would have one of the first turbocharged Power-Trac's. I can almost hear it now, screaming at full boost.
