Hi everyone,
I'm Dave, very recently the proud new owner of a MF 135. It just needs a few minor things done to it and it should be ready to go to work.
This is my first venture into tractor mechanics so I hope to make use of the collective knowledge here and not come across too simple in the process!
My wife and I are building a house and this tractor is going to to be doing a bit of everything: clearing and grading, mowing, driveway maintenance, pulling logs (we have a lot of evergreens), ploughing etc.
We've got some pretty shallow hardpan so I just ordered a Piranha tooth bar for my FEL, I hear it can cut through just about anything.
I grew up in Ireland where this tractor is pretty common. Now I'm living in WA and finally found one in OR in pretty great condition so it was well worth the drive.
That's it, just wanted to say hi.
