Tractor
Kubota L3000F
Well it is Texas, but since I live in South Texas I'll put "Tejas"

Came across the site trying to fix a hydraulic issue with my tractor and decided to join. Glad to be a part of the community.

Live on 4 acres with my family, teacher by day and dirt player in the afternoons. Tractor is mostly for garden work for my wife's projects. It is my dad's Kubota L3000F, currently we have a set of discs and box blade for it. Since I'm a public school teacher budget is tight so upgrades have a thrift priority :) which fits our lifestyle of reducing and reusing (we also recycle).

Combining gardening, tractor work, and my job is fun-- my kids think I'm some hippy eccentric guy. But I get free used bedding from our ag barn to build up our garden. Disced in about 2" of it yesterday on one of our gardens.

To the TBN forum. Glad that you joined.

What grade do you teach. Sounds like they may be young, when students still accept most of what you say as gospel.

When I was an adjunct prof, they didn't accept most of what I said even if I could prove it.

I've taught 9-12th, currently teaching 12th Gov and Economics.

They do accept most of what I present without question but they are rebellious teens so they like to push boundaries at times.

When they get to college, they love to be obstinate thinking the know it all already. :smiley_aafz:

I have asked more than a few; "If they already know everything, then why are they wasting time in school"?
