Well... the rain has finally stopped long enough for me to try mowing again.I have the OEM bagger for my BX2350 and it works great. When I first got it though, it clogged quite a bit. I found that I needed to increase the rpm on the tractor. I was running about 2700 and it was clogging, then I increased it to 3100 and its been working fine ever since. Once in a while a stick will get stuck in the tube, and clog it up, but that doesn't happen very often.
Ken....
Reasonably dry grass, ~2" cut off the standing grass blade, 3000+ rpm, 30" wide cut on a 60" deck, slow walking speed.... I clog after roughly 200 ft.
I did get 1 bag load with things working as others have said. It was great. But, after I emptied, I couldn't get to that magic combination of rpms etc that seemed to work.
Based on a previous suggestion, I pulled the chute hose off of the deck boot and engaged only the rear pto. The cyclone effect off of the impeller is actually BLOWING towards the deck at pretty much every rpm I tried. Not sure what's happening here... dealer is coming to me to investigate. (they're driving 1hr to get here which I think is terrific: Norfolk Power Equip of Wrentham MA)
I'll post more info this afternoon hopefully, once we've debugged this...
