How to pick up a Wallenstein BX60 chipper with a chain?

Yep... done that lift a few times myself. I'm sure that ring was installed just for that purpose.

I have a commercial nylon lifting strap. Leather wrapped loops on each end and two, foot long, sliding leather strap protectors along the length. I put one of the strap protectors thru that lifting ring to protect the strap. It WAS NOT a really well balanced lift. I didn't care, as long as I lifted & moved very slowly - it didn't smack into my pickup or the grill guard on the tractor.

If I had to move it often - I would figure a better, more balanced, "strapping" system.
