How to make it rain

Doesn't always work tho. We have been in drought conditions here in the NW for many years. Last fall turned off wet in Nov, moisture died in Dec. Got about 1/4 normal snow pack. In desperation I pulled the roof off the garage and re-roofed in Feb/Mar. Not one drop of rain for the month it took me to do it.

Fortunately the spring itself has been back to normal moisture.

Well, I did my part too. I turned on the sprinklers Monday and set them to run everyday this week as things were getting a bit brownish, woke up this am to a nice T-storm, and it's still coming down 5 hours later!

SE Iowa had it's first rain in weeks last night - thunder, lightening strong winds and... .15 inches of rain /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

The corn is 10" shorter than normal and this is the pollenation time. If we don't get some real rain soon the yield will really be low.

So far beans are doing ok though.
