Is there any way to make the FEL on my CK30 operate slower? When picking up mulch, or back dragging gravel in my driveway, for ex, I'd like it to function much slower. Is there some sort of hydraulic attachment that could be switched on/off?

You can throttle down. They also make flow restrictors that can be installed but I would think you’d want that installed all the time. Is anything wrong with your end loader? I’ve never seen one you couldn’t feather at least a little bit.

I have the exact same tractor. When doing delicate work I rest my palm against the fender and hold the lever below the grip. You need to keep the revs up so that the tractor has the power to do the job that you’re trying to do…

Is the joystick or valves sticky? Maybe shave down the detent so you don't have to push as hard to get it off center? I find the one on my tractor is pretty good, like I can feather both lift and curl at the same time with some concentration, so maybe do some parts numbers comparison and see if the DKSE one fits. Throttling down a little helps too, but you don't want to be working the HST hard at low rpms.

I would say you have a control issue. Stabilize your arm, as Robin Veerman says. Something you learn when operating 100' ladder trucks from the basket.
When I am hauling something heavy and it inadvertently lifts the rear wheels, when I want the loader down, I want it down now.

Don't think there is anything wrong with the loader. Can't see that it has changed over the years.

I think what I'd most like slower is the lift. Just seems to work too quick to control when dragging, for ex, where the surface is uneven.

I don't use it a lot and as mentioned by others I need to work on putting my hand lower. A shorter stick would work better for me.
