There is a Grappling Fun - picture thread I have been following and enjoying all the great 'claws' but for some of us that cannot legitimately participate in that thread and only drool and dream... I offer this one. Again, pictures appreciated. Sure could've used a grapple. :smiley_aafz:

Moving pulled trees to the burn pile with my grapple-less TORO.

Did not touch them, just slide the brush forks under them.

Should have known Xfaxman! You'd be chiming in w/o grapple and making a contribution. I'm going to have to up my efforts to ban you.

Right. The rest of us are always put to shame when Xfaxman demonstrates his grapples. :D

Just trying to keep your thread going. :)

This is from ten years ago, no grapple just some 24" long forks on my only loader at that time.

Another bump to the no grapple thread.

Pictures from 2009, before I had a grapple, using the brush fork and a 8x16 deckover trailer.

I have used pallet forks with no clamp for moving trees. It works pretty well as long as you are in a big open space. If you brush another tree it tends to drag the load off where a grapple can keep on going. The pallet forks no doubt are light years ahead of the bucket for moving brush and logs.
