I just bought a small parcel of land (14 acres) that was a corn field in upstate NY. The stalks are still there and there are large ruts where the equipment turn around. How do I convert that to pasture and food plot land? What 3pt attachment would be best?

I have a 32 HP 4wd Cub Cadet EX3200

if you are only using one implement my choice would be a 6' double disc for a 32hp tractor. once it starts to cut you can do a awful lot of work with it.

An offset disc will do a better job of cutting up the corn stalks but will now leave as smooth of a field. A tandem or double disc will leave it smoother but will take more more passes to do it. Also, if it is a good quality tandem disc, you will be able to adjust the angle of the gangs, therefore change the aggressiveness of the cut.

How do I convert fourteen acres to pasture and food plot land?

A 2,550 pound operating weight, 4-WD tractor will barely have enough traction to pull a Tandem Disc Harrow with 18" diameter pans. A 66" wide or 72" wide Box Frame Tandem Disc Harrow with 18" diameter pans will smooth your field but likely require four to six time and fuel consuming passes over the land to do so.

Best equipment for starting food plots?

I have a few acres I would like to start to plant on it. Ive been reading a lot of posts, But I'm not sure if its better to buy A plow and disc or plow or tiller or a cultivator. Im in Pa I have a kioti NX6010, Any help or suggestion would be appreciated

An hour with a 5 shank mulch-ripper last fall would have set you up, ready for a field cultivator this spring. But that didn't happen.

Now, it will take your Cub many many hours with a 60" tiller. If it was me, I'd hire it out to a local farmer while the spring field work is happening.

Back in the 80's it was a disc-chisel, the smallest one had 5 chisel points. It was just that - a disc and a 5 point chisel plow. Through the years, improvements changed it some. They added chisel points, moved the gangs around some and finally added some finish options on the rear. Here is a 2720.

Goats. Put a mess of goats in it and they will strip it down to dirt.
