We will be moving when we can find the right property. With no timber to manage as our present property will be sold. I need a project. So, what to do, what to do? Most of the places we have seen have a little garden area beside the walkway to the front door. I want to build a fake snake to lie in that garden area--a big conversation piece. It's going to be an Anaconda snake, maybe 15 feet long. I want the material to be rubbery so if someone touches one it will feel real. We'll warn maybe guests, but unwanted people, well they will find out they are unwanted.

So, what materials can I use to make it? First thought is used inner tubes but any better ideas?

Ideas?

Thanks.

Too large of a snake and the effect may be lost.

I've had a series of Dollar store rubber snakes that I've modified and strategically placed. UPS guy is not cool with it.

Maybe a raccoon sized spider would be an easier texture to fool the eye?

That tire snake is sweet. Size could be altered using motorcycle tires.
