That would be a lot of work! I thought about doing that with my house too, but when I calculated how many feet of caulk that would be, I was too tired to begin the project! It would be more than a mile of caulk.

Ah, Do a hundred feet at a time. By the time you're done, you'll be able to crack a walnut with your bare hands.

Yep. We turn on the ceiling fan on low with updraft in the dining room in winter, and it makes the whole house feel a lot more comfy. Just that little bit of air circulation makes the air less prone to hot and cold spots

Absolutely. I noticed at least a 50% increase simply by keeping the laundry shute open in the upstairs bathroom. I found that trick by accident.

Dad upgrsaded his furnace some years back. He cut his yearly wood quota significantly. cut useage to maybe 3/4 what it was before. He is taking more trips than previously and some winters are colder than others, but 3/4 is a pretty conservative estimate.
