I have an L2800 Kubota that has reached the 50 hours. Book says 7.3 gallons of transmission/hydro oil. Dealers say I can only get out 5 gals. Only sold me 5 gal. Will that be enough? Don't want tractor sidelined while I make 60 mile trip to get more oil. Thanks in advance for your help.

I changed mine in my L2800 and if I remember correctly 5 Gallons did it. Personally I like to have extra on hand. I believe there are 2 plugs you have to pull as well to drain. get a big bucket for collection

There are four drain plugs. A lot of fluid is in the hoses etc. and will not drain. The manual does say 7.3 Gal but only about 5 will drain. When you refill just go by the sight glass and you can't go wrong. As said above, keep some on hand. The front axel also uses the SUDT fluid. I bought 8 gal and had about 3 left, Don't remember exactly how much used or left over. Be carefull, It comes out very fast.
