How much trailer do I need?

I'm looking at getting a kioti ck30 with a brush hog. Front of trailer to rear of brush hog is 16'. Add the front end loader and its 19' front to back. I know an 18-20' trailer would be better, but I'm wondering if I can get away with a 16' trailer and having some of the brush hog hang off the back? Opinions?

If you are getting a trailer with ramps that fold over back on the trailer you could let the tail wheel hang over between the ramps. If you need to hang any of the cutter deck over you will need to get a trailer with slide in ramps.

I have a 18' trailer with tuck under ramps. When I haul my tractor and bush hog, the tail wheel hands off the back. With my trailer I could handle a 2-3' longer unit.

I have a ct235 and an 18' trailer. With the bushhog and loader installed it hangs 3' over. 18' is the minimum you should be looking at IMO.

I would not want anything shorter than 18'.

Get a 20' trailer and you won't regret it, length really pays off.

You will also max out a 7000 lb trailer with that combination.... Pay attention to the available payload on anything you look at.

My former(similar sized to yours) L3130 Kubota with FEL and BH barely fit into my 24ft.garage..........get at least a 20 ft.trailer.

I just purchased a used trailer and went with 20'. The longer the better. Check your weight. You may need to go bigger than typical 7K double axle. Lots of 9900# options out their to keep you out of Class A license requirements in some states.
