Yep. It’s the worst thing you can do in a clay soil. Been there, done that. Never again. You just have to be patient until the soil is the right moisture content before working clay ground.What??? Plowing in "wet" soil increases the condition called plow pack which is a compacted layer of soil just below the plowing depth which decreases water migration and increases ponding from rain. As well as hard clods that need to be broken up.
