How much can a compact tractor backhoe lift?

I did not know that.
My 11' hoe will reach out and lift, a lot further than my loader bucket!

A tractor is made for pulling, just look at where the heavy engine & the strong axle is. That doesn't stop people from putting implements like a loader on the front. Not ideal but it's better than nothing or buying an expensive optimized machine.

Just because something isn't optimized for a task doesn't mean it can't do that task OK (or even well).

Backhoes and excavators are designed for lifting. At least I assume they are as most manufacturers list detailed lifting specs for them at various heights and distances.

for a compact tractor, in this case it will be a Branson 3620h how much can a backhoe lift?

The first question is frame-mounted, or a 3-point backhoe? If it's 3-point and on a small tractor, don't expect much more lift than just the loaded bucket.

I had to did a new Leach Field and I dug up some big granite rocks some so big I could not grab them with the Bucket and Hydr. Thumb this pic is one of the rocks that I could grab.
I used it as a counter balance to load up my welding machine. The larger rocks picked the front end of the tractor off the ground. One was so heavy I popped a wheelie and picket the front end so far up I did not know if I was going to get down safely This Backhoe has impressed me several times with what it has done for me.
That is a 24" Bucket holding that rock and it has lifted Larger ones for me.

They’ll go farther out but every backhoe I’ve had would lift a lot more on the loader then the boom would. Especially if you wanted any height. Once you start pushing the stick out to gain height the strength drops off a lot. My mini x would pick this stump up but only about a foot high. The skid would go as high as I wanted.
