Geez, I barely remember when I had 44 hours...only because I'm old and it was over 2 weeks ago (smile).

I would love to take 2 weeks off, work like a dog for a week then relax for the rest

If you search the forum it has been proven that those green tractors can't count right and they add 1.2 hours for every real hour...

13000 hrs !!! Geez, and you traded it in. Imagine a car with that many hrs...there wouldn't be anything left to trade in except the license plate (smile)

How long did you have it?

I bought it used in August 1995 and traded it in in June 2009. Wonderful machine, but you had to operate it by the seat of your pants. The JD is much more rational : put the lever on 2, depress the switch ... You lose in poetry but gain in efficiency.
By the way, that machine (pic 1) worked perfectly when I said goodbye, but the previous one (pic 2) didn't run and sold for about the same price : plenty of metal and precious spare parts.
