None needed here for any carry, so I guess you could say I have one.:thumbsup:

Oh I know I do, I need one to go in NH even! A national one would be nice, but the whole list thing comes into play.

Use caution before crossing state lines, not every state will recognize another's permit. You can check on line or call the state police in the state you are passing through. Massachusetts is tough.

I've had a Pennsylvania License to Carry Firearms (LTCF) since 1987 or '88.
Vermont, like a few other states, requires no permit to carry a firearm openly or concealled...so, if I want to carry out of state, I have to get a non-resident permit from another state...New Hampshire is the best bet.

My wife and I have a conceal carry but just found out today that Utah Senate OK's bill that would allow concealed carry without a permit.

I have a CC permit.
Renewal is every 5 years here.

In our county is pretty much the same. Not sure for you guys, but here, it's not a "renewal". It's a whole new process every 5 years. That's always struck me as odd, a bit troubling, as I've worried that it's too easy to not give someone a "new" license.

It's not like they wouldn't "renew" you, as that's not what happens. I'm probably just worrying too much.

have permit here and also the Utah license so im good to carry in about 30 states. Carry every day. I do service calls out in the middle of nowheres. Too many crack heads in the world today to risk it.Wife also has one. so do most of the people i know.

here its a simple pay the fee renewal. good for 5 years.

Idaho also just passed a law that any federal or state official that interferes in a licensed Idaho residence form legally carrying a gun can be arrested.. GO IDAHO

Renewal period is 3 years here, and half price of original permit. You don't need a permit to carry concealed in the car, even concealed on your person. Open carry is allowed statewide, but banned in a lot of municipality's. The 8 hours of classroom can't hurt, and is generally pretty good, the shooting qualifications is pretty easy. I have run dozens of people thru it. I am not a certified instructor but worked under a certified instructor. There are so many people getting their permits now that One guy cannot run the classes thru the shooting portion in a reasonable amount of time.
