Hi guys,
I am not sure how this happened or what could cause it. I had just pushed over a pile of mulch and backed up when I noticed my tires pointing different directions.
Any idea what could cause something like this? Has anyone had this happen to them?
I was really bummed since it is the second major thing to go wrong with the tractor...the first was a transmission issue that was covered but I still had to pay to haul it to the dealer...so it cost me. I have about 450 hours on the tractor.
I am several months past my warranty, but my dealer convinced Kioti to cover the parts and shipping, but I would have to pay for the work which is like $500.
. Kioti said the bevel case and axle case would need to be replaced. How difficult would this be to do myself? I am not sure if that is even an option or if getting the parts is contingent on having my dealer do the work...I would need to ask . Money is tight right now!
Kioti said they also upgraded this part so I wonder if it was due to failures? So one side would be the new version, and the other the old version. I think they would cover the shipping for the other side if I wanted to upgrade, but that would be an additional $600 dollars so I doubt it's worth it.
