Looking to add washer fluid to 11.2x24 ag tires.
I致e been advised to fill half way to keep weight low for hill side work and ALSO been advised 80% full is better.
Which is it?
Thanks,Mike

Enough to keep the center of the rim covered. Usually about 75 percent. If you expose the center to air it will corrode much faster. If you cover it in the water it will last many years longer. You do not list a location, but I assume it never freezes there? I have a water methanol mix in mine. The alcohol keeps it from freezing in our temps.

One thing to consider is whether or not you rely on tire air volume to help in obtaining a softer ride, like on the 2400. The more fluid you install the less air you have to compress when you hit a bump. On a small tractor weighing 1800# and a pair of 3200# rated rears which come standard, getting a soft ride is tough.

I put fluid in my tires at first but found that running at 10 psig, the fluid was instrumental in having the tires come off the rims in normal (bumpy) field use. Going back to full air fill and using wheel weights for the added weight worked much better.

I have just over the axle fill in my 6530 only because it's the contents of a 55 gallon drum that the tire guy had in the back of his truck; one drum per rear tire. It has served my purposes.

Hadn稚 heard that fluid fill would lead to the tires coming off the bead.

Just reminder when checking air pressure valve stem at top. ;)

Yup, valve stem at the top to check air. I have Rimguard in my rears, denser than water, and with the cold temps here, Rimguard doesn't freeze at -40 F.

You can see the frost line on the tire for how far up they're filled. Took this pic last winter, thought it gave a nice example of how full the tire was.
