How does your garden grow?

Wife forwarded a link to me couple weeks ago about the benefits of using Epsom salts in your garden. Sprinkled just a bit at base of plants then watered in. Tomatoes and squash and purple hull peas look good.
Okra is still small and some of the leaves have white coloring. Snap beans were doing good but turned off puny and wilty. Guess Epsom salts not good for them. Probably gonna pull them up and try planting another round.

I don't know if it frosted here the other night or not. I covered my second year peach trees with towels in case it did. I probably should pull these peaches off since the trees are so young. I did prune them back and I'm just going to leave them on and see what happens.

Before I built the raised beds my garden was heavy in clay. Apparently okra does well in that. Every year when I tilled it, okra popped up all over. I didn't have to buy okra for planting for six or seven years. It was so widespread I'd have to pull it out of the rows for other plants.

REALLY late start, added we had to go with plants due to seeds due to the delay. BAD timing on our end as well as we had like 7 straight days of rain like the day AFTER we planted (as well as a tornado that hit nearby just the other day). Although we only have 4 beds up now, it's already larger than what we had in the past. 1st bed on the right is a "memorial garden" where we have our pets ashes laid, something my wife always wanted to do.

SLOWLY coming along.

Man I haven't even been able to start planting yet though I have lots o plants waiting to get in the ground soon. Its been way to wet to till and lay plastic and beside with all the wind an rain its been pretty cool temps, lucky to even make it into mid 60's most days.

Geeze first week of outdoor flower marketing cold damaged lot of the greenhouse plants. We seem to do it regular too during that first week out..we never learn it seems

Night time temps were into the low 30's on the 20th of May and there was several inches of snow on Mothers Day in the mountains around the ski area here.

Got the 500 glad bulbs in the ground about 14 days ago and they are starting to pop up now. I never seen my peas growing as slow as they are this season been more than a month now and I don't think they are eve a full 2ft high yet and of course are not flowering either

Maybe things will change some by next week
