How does your garden grow?

I need to stop by my local co-op and see if they have onion starts in yet. If so, I will get some planted next weekend.

I don't grow many potatoes... They just sell potatoes, onions and carrots too cheep here at road side markets and stands,

(carrots are $2.50 for 20 pounds)

Last few times I donated pots or carrots, i just stopped and bought some to donate... I'm NOT going through all the work to grow/harvest potatoes or carrots that can be bought for those prices!

Still too cold here, I do have about 500 onion transplants ready, and lots of potatoes ready to go in the ground. Had to disk the garden already as the weeds were germinating. Was a mild winter here, central Washington state.

It was too wet to work my green beans and sugar snap peas this morning, so I cut the grass on the inside of the garden fence. Once I get all my hoses strung out it will be a pain to get it done. My black squash are coming up now. {forgot to take a picture}

Planted about 200# of seed potatoes and 1000 onions Saturday. Also started 150 tomato plants in the greenhouse.

How many feet of row is 200# of potatoes?

The onions I know because I planted 750 one year and had them coming out of my ears. 1000 onions is really impressive..

You guys are killing me. Four below Zero F this morning and two and a half feet of frozen corn snow on the gardens. Even the maple sap isn't running yet. Is there a sweet corn variety that matures in forty five days?
