How does your garden grow?

Lol, you'll have to put that order in with toppop52, I'm on the other side of the state.
Are you North of Bangor? That's as far north I've been in Maine. Went to scout camp up there around 8 yrs ago.

Sunday I had the snow blower on the tractor and blowed a little bit of the garden to get a jump on things:laughing:
In the past week or so I'm able to see just the top of that little fence that we grow peas on :confused3:. The 12" we got on April fool's day is just about melted.

When that does melt, you won't have to water for a while.

The okra is coming up. That was just about the last thing to show itself. I got the corn and green beans plowed today. Everything else got it last week.

My underground greenhouse was getting pretty ragged. So I added a bunch of last year's soil, put in some peppers and topped it off with new soil. These are the 4 Mammoth Jalapeno I bought. There is one pepper as long as your finger.

Also put 15 Pruden's Purple, 10 Yellow Pear and 10 Brandywine sprouts from cups to gallon pots, but didn't take pictures. Lots of Yellow Pear and Brandywine sprouts left over. Will try to give away.

A row of beets are up and a row of onions too. Today I planted 2 rows of pintos, 3 1/2 rows blue lake bush and 3 1/2 rows of golden queen. I will be growing okra again too my wife eats it like popcorn as long as I fry it up.
We have cut back on growing things that don't get ate so that leaves as of now 12 rows unplanted each row is 130 ft long. I plan to combine cukes, squash, cantaloupe, and melons for two more rows. Tomato and pepper plants will be few this year as not much needed for freezer or canning. Going to experiment planting potatoes left over from last years crop and will also plant a half row of sweet potatoes in a garden. Yesterday my neighbor and I planted 25 lbs. Kennebecs 10 lbs. Yukon gold and 10 lbs reds in a spot on the back 40.
Now I'm looking for suggestion for planting the remaining 9-10 rows. I think I should scale back the size of the garden but am certain I wouldn't be happy doing that. I've thought of a farm stand here at my place but get discouraged because I can't seem to give it away to anyone unless I pick it and then deliver it.
So if you had the space what might you plant? It could just about anything as I will eat anything
