Kinda of (ok definitely) a newbie questions, but how does one operate this transmission. It has 8F and 4R gear, neither of the two levers appear to move left or right, so how does it work?
The slot in the cover is deceptive. The levers do move left and right, they pivot at the slotted cover. The left lever is Range I and II and also reverse. The right lever is gears 1-4 in standard H pattern. There is a decal visible in picture that shows shift pattern.
