No, I wouldn't want to buy anything from someone who didn't have enough sense to say, "I'm sorry, I've been ill for several days, and I'll need to check on it for you." It doesn't take a lot to be a good dealer, but there are often no training classes being given these people, and they don't stop to put themselves in the customer's shoes.
It seems elementary that good service = return business, but some folks, in all brands, just don't get it.
Funny how it seems when I read these posts that not just one bad thing happens to that one person, but a whole slew of stupid, unneccessary things happen simply because the dealer doesn't become the consumer in his dealings with customers and treat the customers as they would want to be treated. Go figure.
