I am uncomfortable at height unless I am in a lift basket. But it is all in the perception. When I was much younger, I helped my brother do a remodel/addition on his house. I was very leery then on the roof, especially near the edge.
This project involved removing the entire roof. My brother hired a craned and had it lifted off in two sections. Once they were on the ground I could walk, run and dance right near the edge with no feeling of falling off. But that same roof 10' in the air scared the bejeezus out of me.
