How do I replace cable?

2002 DK50 C using the joystick that operates the FEL up and down, the cable broke and thus the bucket no longer goes up. So I ordered a new cable, but I cannot figure out how to take the old cable out of the joystick block. Attached is a photo. The front plunger is the one with the broken cable; the one directly behind it is the pivot connection, and the bucket controls are on the L side of the control. I cannot figure out how to get that ball out. I unscrewed the threaded nut underneath the pivot block, and the cable end didn't come out..... Looks simple, but I cannot figure it out- everything is too rigid to allow the ball to come out. What's the trick?

I think you first remove the fixed pivot ball via a screw from below.

Members have changed the rod ball ended pieces along with the plate they go into. Just give them time to respond. I remember reading their posts but can't find them with a search. Their need was mainly because of the plastic ball ends failing. They had to take it apart as you will need to. There is a Kioti repair kit call a cimantic kit, if I remember correctly. The new kit has steel ball ends which Kioti must have changed to. I have a kit on my shelf for my 2004 CK30hst for whenever it finally fails but so far so good. Your ball ends still look good. Just grease them up well. Sorry, I can't be of more help.
