How do I make pics small enuf?

I need to be retrained every time.
I have photoshop 7
There must be an easy way to get my pics below the 100K limit /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

1) Image -> Image Size

Reduce to 600-800 pixels, depending on the image.

2) File -> Save for Web

Select JPG, quality set to 70-75.

That should get you well under 100k.

If its still too large try 'Optimize to Filesize'.

See the attachment: on the Save for Web screen, that highlighted button with a right-arrow brings up Optimize to Filesize - in PhotoShop 6 at least.
