How do I get this boulder out of this hole?

I get the fact that at some point, it becomes a challenge. If all else fails, you could try this:

Build a big fire around the rock and keep it stoked it for a few days. Then fracture it by dumping a FEL bucket filled with cold water on it. Remove the pieces and re assemble the rock in it's new location. If you're lucky, it will break up into several large pieces with only a few smaller chunks.

If you're careful, the pieces should fit together neatly, and if positioned correctly, it will look like the original boulder.

Gentlemen….
This is not difficult. No need to complicate things. We can do this easily and reasonably by hiring or renting a larger excavator.
Have a nice day

You could lift it out using a hydrogen balloon. Just "No Smoking" around the balloon ... o_O

About 50ft radius and 100ft tall balloon would get you in the ballpark ....

it's 40-50K lbs according to an AI estimate. AI basically looked at the oak leaves in the water and estimated the size of the boulder and then did calculations based on granite which is the predominate rock in the area. Pretty crazy. Not sure how accurate it is but i can tell you i had a bear of a time getting another boulder, out of the ground, that was maybe 2/3 or even half the size. Only managed to move it across the property because we had a rain and the field became a slippery mud pit otherwise the friction of dry ground couldn't be overcome with the CAT 305
Looks fairly round in one aspect. Rolling, NOT dragging, up a ramp would present a mechanical advantage and virtually eliminate friction. ... Let your imagination dwell on the concept of getting a large long "strap" looped under/over the rock and having its ends reaching all the way up the ramp. Deadman anchor the end coming from the bottom of the rock, and PULL on the end leading off the top. If it will roll you can get a 2:1 advantage.
- -That and the gradual rise of the ramp may be just enuf to deal with it.

@Hay Dude that commercial is funny. I’ve seen the theory about the best way to start a fire and I thought about posting how I get a fire going. Then I realized I’d sound like those idiots in the Progressive commercial. :D

The picture makes it look a lot smaller than it is. I'd say it is at least 7-8 wide, maybe more, and goes down at least 5-6 ft. These are just guesses. I haven't climbed in to measure since I'm not sure how I would get out. The CAT 306 I rented won't budge it. Not even a little. I have a Harbor Freight 12,000lb winch (synthetic rope) but no trees nearby. At least nothing substantial. Any thoughts on how to get this out intact? We want to use it as a focal piece in landscaping

Could you jack it enough to get a sled of logs under it & winch it?

Core drill & dynamite
yeah I initially suggested a rock splitter or expanding grout that break rocks (way less dangerous then blasting especially for a urban area) but Ops want to keep the rock intact for a focal piece in landscaping.

Honestly that's a good idea ... break this rock with a rock splitter or expanding grout if there is houses around (safe and inexpensive) or explosive if its safe to do so and get yourself a smaller rock delivered as your focal piece, you will save yourself a hell of a headache.
