Still trying to get my Dk 40 to start.
I have bleed the fuel system so my next step is to check solonoid.
I took it off and disconnected the harness.
I thought there would be a red and black however there is also a blue wire.
No idea of what this is for.
Anyway I ran 12volts to red and black connections on solonoid and the black "plunger" does not move.
In addition no sounds from solonoid when energized.
Did I test correctly?
Does the blue contact need to be energized as well?
Obviously I am not a mechanic and would appreciate some guidance.
I just do not want to drop $120 on a solonoid which is not in need of replacement.
In addition dealer will NOT accept returns on electrical parts which Iunderstand.
FEIW When I removed the solonoid the plunger is in the extended position and can be pushed in freely by hand and when released it extends back out.
