I think you did well, I was traveling down the road yesterday and saw a mower just like that for sale, does it work well, I am thinking of going back and buying it.

Thanks...the mower is a Sitrex SM230 (90" cut), but they are also sold as Rhino XM series as well. I think it does a nice job. I need to put solid wheels on it, and the front anti-scalp wheel (already have it), but those are minor points. I picked mine up at an auction for $1k, and I'm happy with it. I put new blades and belts on it, and painted the light surface rust spots with rust converter....that's it. I'd buy another one, no doubt.

Put the big hog on the 241 today....it ran it beautifully.

Thanks! Now that I've had the chance to run it for a couple of weeks, I'm extremely pleased. It runs my mower like it's not there, it powers my 6' hog just as well, and I'm happy with the layout. Can't ask for much more than that!

If I am correct the seller of your Fergy lives up in Beach Ohio? I have seen severl Fergs he has sold which all looked like nice units. I myself have taked with him and he sounded like a very pleasant person to deal with. Myself looking for that super cutie 245 Fergy with that loader or brute 255 with a loader.

Yep, that's the same guy! I saw the 231 he had listed, and it was also a nice unit. The 231 was just a bit too crowded for me, and the extra power of the 241 is a bonus.
