Brought home a 1969 MF 135 yesterday from a guy that wanted to finish remodeling his kitchen more than he wanted the tractor. Diesel, dual clutch, power steering, but no locking differential. It only had 2819 hours on it when the previous owner decided to go through it. He rebuilt the engine including new sleeves, pistons, valves and headwork, turning the crank etc. Had the injector pump rebuilt along with the starter, alternator and radiator. He replaced the entire wiring loom, all the guages, a couple of seals, power steering hoses, battery, belt and hoses and completely new clutch assembly. He also had a service manual and the original operators manual. The Bush Hog brand 5' shredder didn't even have the paint rubbed off the blades yet so it is basically brand new.
I paid $4200 for the tractor and $850 for the shredder. The tractor was on the higher end of several 135's I was considering but knowing it was mechanically fresh convinced me to go with it. Most I found had been repainted and looked better, but not much in the way of mechanical reconditioning.
When I do get around to repainting it, i will replace the fenders with flat tops that have lighting.
