Maybe not dangerous... But an article today spoke of California having the highest unemployment in the US, mainly driven by job losses due to AI.

The train has left the station, and I suspect it will only gain speed

People will be surprised how many jobs AI can replace/reduce. Even people-centric jobs like nursing can be affected. It may not completely replace them, but time spent charting or decision-making will largely be eliminated. Fewer heads needed to do the physical work.

California made the fatal mistake of thinking they could control the economy. If they weren't on the coast, they'd be in pretty deep. The ocean keeps them afloat (sorry for the pun).

I doubt many nurses would complain. Every one I've ever met hates their jobs, primarily because health care institutions treat them like crap.
