I'm not saying your daughter is anything like I was in my youth, but ......

When I was in my teens, I was known to drive a little wild and get sideways more than once. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

One time in during my high school days I managed to tear the side out of a tire similar to that, but with a rock. Nobody would belive me when I said the rock jumped up and attacked my tire as I drove by. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm sure that she wouldn't drive like I did in my youth, and you have some very aggressive sticks in your part of the world that attack tires on cars as they drive by. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Does she have any Christmas money left over to buy a new tire? No way I'd pay for that one!!!!

I had a spark plug go thru a steel belted tire (not the sidewall either), so nothing surprises me anymore.

I hate to buy just one tire, Might end up better off getting at least two...

Oh BTW do you have road hazard insurance on those tires?
