How can I add skid shoes to my back blade?

Does anyone know of commercially available bolt-on or weld-on brackets that permit adjustable skid shoes to be mounted on a back blade?
I have a (cheap) 5-foot Speeco back blade, and have trouble avoiding scraping gravel off our driveway when plowing snow. I know I can get the skid shoes at Tractor Supply and elsewhere, but haven't been able to locate mounting brackets.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I had skid shoes on a rear blade and then went to guage wheels, which work much better. Each time I made the mounting brackets. There's probably pics of the skid shoes I had on here somewhere. They were basically a piece of angle iron that bolted to the blade with a piece of pipe welded to it that the shoe slid into. I used washers as spacers.
Compared to guage wheels they are a waste of time and effort IMO.

Get yourself over to TSC and look at a pair of shoes for a Western snowplow. The're about 16 bucks each. Then while you're there go into the plumbing section and get a pipe nipple the length and ID that you'll need. Weld the nipples on and slide in the shoes using a lynch pin to keep them in place. See how they attach on a plow.
