How big of a slab could I do by myself?

For my project, im actually ordering 2 loads of limerock for the driveway, just to get a concrete truck to the pour... Yes, the driveway needs some love regardless, but I moved it up the schedule just cause I hate mixing bag Crete so much

My the first 9x20x5.5" formed up. Kinda had a random day off, for no reason other than to burn some PTO, and figured I'd do something productive. It's easy to forget how much work even fine grading is.

I might regret it later, but I set it for dead flat. I knew I didn't want to follow the "lay of the land"; but maybe I should have put 2% slope? Nothing shows your faults more than a "flat" slab.

Got work, and rain chances all this week; might be a couple weeks before I pour it.

Once the 3 slabs are poured, I am considering pouring a D-curb at the front, and regrading the "lawn" up hill of it.

So, called the guy about 35 miles away, to get a firm quote; and i was kinda shocked. 4 CY, 3000 psi, no fiber, not pump mix, delivered 35 miles away; only $600. I was expecting worse. As in, I actually asked some other people, does this sound too cheap. Folks I spoke with said, thats kinda cheap, suprised your not hit with a short load fee, but it's in the ball park.

Our local cement plant has a 4 yard minimum, so that doesn't surprise me that you didn't get charged. ;)

I dont think i could bag mix 4 yards for $600.

45 bags per yard, at $5.98; redi mix is almost half the price;

And I have mixed 1 CY from bags; in a wheel barrow; and id rather not again...

Stupid question, what's your preferred weather app? I swear thats the worst part of ordering concrete. You need to order 48 hrs in advance normally, and a generic 24% chance of rain. Ok, well, afternoon light rain, fine; but 2" thunder storm at 11am is a different story.

Concrete here in western Ohio is over $200 a yard.

Im paying $125/yard, and $100 in delivery/fuel surcharge/environmental fees. I could go to 3500 psi for about $20 more per yard; but i think thats overkill.
