198X International Cub Cadet 1200. 327 Original Hours, A few scrathes here and there, quiet Kohler, strong tranny, NEW clutch.

1983 Snapper Hi-Vac Rear Engine rider. Replaced Tranny when I got it last year, engine is from 1996, 8hp Briggs. Light surface rust here and there, uses no oil, cuts GREAT.

12" Brinly Breaking Plow, Clevis Hitch, fits the 416
48" Tandem Disc Harrow, 3pt, fits the John deere
Home made forrow maker, fits anything with a hitch.
4hp Tiller, Fits WH 416

7hp Ariens Rocket VII Roto Tiller, Self Propelled, Rear Tine, got about 4 hours on it. REALLY OLD!

And for the oddball of the colelction, Ive got an old Heckendorn commercial Rider.
10hp Briggs Cast Iron engine, updraft carb setup, Points...etc...
4 speed tranny, really heavy duty.
3 wheels
about 40" single blade cut
Runs, and moves, but the blade belts broke, and I cant seem to find a Double V belt to replace it.

Ive got an array of old Chainsaws, weed eaters, and push mowers.

I work on small engines for a living, so I see alot of mowers, and I get alot of people wanting me to buy their mowers...I get some good deals too!

I had a guy offer to sell me one of them about a year ago.

IT was an early sixties, with the K181S, with the starter generator. Had turf Tires, all original, in excellent shape.
Has a nice mower, powred tiller, 10" plow....and he wanted 900 for it.

I couldnt justify 900 bucks on an 8hp tractor. I already got 1 8hp tractor.

Since dad and I have a Lawn business together:

Toro Z449 with 52" turbo force deck and a 19 Hp Kawasaki
Snapper 21" walk behind mower
Echo 2100 string trimmer
Stihl FS76 string trimmer/brush cutter (with the bike handles, it's my $100 item that was practically brand new when I bought it two months ago!)
Stihl BG55 blower
Craftsman leaf blower
Stihl Farm boss 029 with 18" and 20" bar
Stihl HT 75 pole trimmer
Craftsman (model?????) walk behind edger
Dad's pride and joy-- Troy Built horse with 8 hp Briggs

A Weedeater brand weedeater---- junk but it runs, sometimes it's used to edge sidewalks and curbs since it has a curved shaft and "fits" in your hands real well to do this job, I say sometimes because it's only used if and when I feel like tinkering with it the day before I use it.

A Homelite ST-275 string trimmer, it was free, it runs, it trims, it ain't pretty and it don't idle well. But it runs at high rpm's well and if it gets left behind somewhere big friggin deal!

An electric cyclone seeder to mount on the fourwheeler
Honda 350 Rancher 4wd 5-speed manual

Various farm items

Mine was free for the hauling. I put new plug and points int it and it fired right up. The deck is shot though.

PRIDE AND JOY- 1962 WheelHorse Model 702. 8hp Kohler, 4spd unidrive, 32" gear drive deck....100% completely restored, 100% original except the engine, I couldn't find a K-161...

Did you do the restoration yourself? Was it very difficult?

My Dad has a 1969 Wheel Horse, Raider 12 HP, that my grandfather bought brand new. He has the original plow, snowblower, roller, and mower. It's pretty rough, but it's mowed lawns and done yard work every summer since it was purchased. (It was used for snow until 1980.) My Dad still uses it today.

It's going to be mine someday (this thing is like a tank, I'm sure it'll still be running), and I would love to fix it up.

Well, when Igot it, it was pretty bad.

Found it sitting behind a local small engine shop. Just a hood, Trans, Frame, fenders and a deck. 100% rusted.

So I bought it, took it home, took it all apart, cleaned the grease off it. Took the tin and stuff to be sandblasted, brought it home and primed/painted it all.

Original tires held air, blasted, and painted rims ALmond white.

Found an era correct Kohler K181S on ebay, bought it, cleaned it up, and installed it. Found a belt cover on Ebay too. Made a custom Exhaust stack with the rain flap.
Bought a vinyl Seat pan cover off Ebay.

Put it all back together and it worked fine. Nice mower, cut like a dream, pulled like hell!

Its pretty hard, just keeping track of all the nuts and bolts, and keeping track of what hardware is damaged or had ot be cut off...sandblasting is costly, but required.
702 is a very simple tractor. I could go out right now, and have it bare framed in about an hour.

The raider is more complicated, so it should take you longer to restore.

It took me 6 months, start to finsih. Cost for original frame was $25.00, Total cost of rebuild was $1,000, engine not rebuilt.

1969 Wheelhorse Charger Automatic (12hp K series Kohler; rebuilt). Has an electric clutch that still works! Sunstrand hydro....10 pinion limited slip rear!

1995 Toro Wheelhorse 314-H tractor. Bought it in 2000 with 23 hours on it. It now has 180 hrs on it. Tractor is mint. Eaton 11 hydro....great machine (now worth more than what I paid for it)!

2005 Toro Wheelhorse Classic "GT" (former 314-8). Picked up this 2005 leftover recently (~4k including 42" side discharge deck). I wanted a gear drive but could not find a nice condition low hour used machine. I have a hunch I may have bought the last new Classic GT in my area. It cuts great and is a pleasure to use!!

1978 Model 310 Bobcat Skidsteer loader (16hp K series Kohler;rebuilt). The machine is in excellent condition. I rebuilt all hydraulic cylinders and replaced a bunch of hydraulic lines.

2003 Honda Rincon ATV (now have 300 miles and 80 hours on it). I am a Wheelhorse nut but this ATV is superior at snow plowing!

Bachtold Bros. TRV26 log splitter (Honda Engine) A must have for living in the woods!

Old Sears Roto Spader 3.5hp roto-tiller. Works excellent ($10 at a yard sale).

1999 Kubota ARX6500 Generator. 26 hours on it. Bought it the week of Hurricane Floyd (July 1999). It is smooth and quiet!

Tanaka TBC2510 Weed Wacker

Tanaka TBC3400 Brush Cutter

Tanaka TPE2510 Edger

Tanaka TBL4600 Back pack leaf blower

Echo PB-2100 leaf blower

Husqvarna 372XP Chain Saw 24" bar

Stihl 026 PRO 18" bar

Stihl 017 14" bar

Northstar power washer 5hp Honda engine.

I can't emphasize enough putting "Stabil" in every 5 gallon can of gas you buy. Put it in right away (regardless of the time of year). This will make sure you always have Stabil in your gas!!

My wife saw my tractor stash recently sitting in the yard and mentioned the term "Black Mail" and then shook her head and went into the house!!!
