Hour Meter

I have a RK 24 and the hour meter quit working. Anyone might know what is wrong?

Mechanical (works with mechanical tachometer) or electrical (digital)?...

Sometimes on rare occasions - they just die. Check the connection(s) to make sure they are secure.

A bit more detail would be nice. Does your tachometer still work and just the hour meter quit, or does neither work? Is it mechanical or electronic? Older tractors tend to be mechanical while newer ones use more electronics.

When my (electric) hour meter stopped working, it turned out to be an unplugged white wire located in a wrap of wires by the starter. Your RK 24 may be similar to my TYM273. I plugged that wire back together and bingo was back in good shape. Good luck!
