Hour meter question

Some engines will also have an hour meter mounted on the fuel pump. Measures fuel flow which gives an indication of the load on the engine. Pretty much the same as the RPM driven hourmeter.

I know I was pretty shocked to see how few hours were on my tractor hourmeter compared to the number of hours I put in the seat.
