I'm planning to add 2 work lights on the under side of my roll bar on a 2013 CK35H. Looking for opinions on what existing hot wire and the location of that hot wire that would be the best to tie into for power? I will be using a new power switch for the new lights.

You might try wiring off the switched side of your key switch and through your power switch. That way IF you were to forget and leave them on when you turn the tractor off the lights would go off, too. Save killing your battery
Don't forget to put a fuse somewhere after the switch and before the lights.

There is a power and ground connection for rear work lights already in the harness. Standing behind on the right hand side just under the sheet metal that the tool box is bolted to, look for 2 wires with round "bullet" connections.

There is also a spare fuse circuit in the block

When I was doing that on our L3830, I found a switched fuse in the fuse panel and used that for the "trigger" wire for the relay (which connected directly to the battery).

SSdoxie, is there a power switch already installed that is associated with these wires?

No, those are switched thru the ignition. The rear work light has its own switch.

Could someone please tell me how to get wires connected to the back of the spare fuse slots.
DK45SE. Thanks

There is a difference between an unused fuse and the 'spare' fuses (usually two) in the fuse block.

The two 'spare' fuses really are just that. They do not and cannot connect to anything, they are just to be handy when a fuse needs replacing.

May have read your question wrong, my apologies if so.

There are spare fuses but also two spare positions with the lugs in place. I need to get the lugs free to attach wire IMG_1450.jpgIMG_1451.jpgIMG_1454.jpgIMG_1455.jpg

This thread is getting a bit old but I wanted to respond. The work light wire on my DK45HSE is only about 18 gauge and due to voltage drop is not enough to power any lights to capacity other than some low current LEDs. I run all of my wiring for anything directly to the battery, connections soldered and fused.

When I installed the MIE light bar and added 27 watt LEDs along with the standard incandescents, I ran a new 12 gauge wire directly from the battery to the light bar and also rewired the light bar (with 14 gauge parallel, if memory serves) as I did not want the voltage drop of the smaller stock wiring. I also added the 12VDC power receptacle to support ~20 - 25 amps with 10 gauge wiring and a good quality marine outlet.

I agree with sdef; I'd run the power directly from the battery with good gauge wire and use a relay tied to the ignition or the auxiliary plugs to switch the lights. This way you get full power and don't risk overheating wires causing melted wires. a short or a fire.

How do I get a wiring diagram for my 08 CK35HST? I wonder how many spare wiring harnesses there are?

From what I have seen, a particular tractor model can be made for quite a few years and one manual covers most or all years of that particular model. My guess is you can still get the factory manual from any Kioti dealer and a later model CK35HST is probably the same as yours. MIE (Michigan Implements & Equipment I think) advertises on TBN and has a decent web site to peruse. Odds are the wiring page extends to multiple pages, but someone on TBN may be willing to copy and post, which I have seen done quite a few times.

Thanks, It would be nice to download a shop manual for the tractor.

Yep. We would all like one of those. There is a thread around here about that and a whole bunch of folks have signed it- kind of like a petition.
