Guess? Yes! The earth axis in 2012 will come to the end of it's cycle of tilting and will start swinging back, starting a new cycle....

The earths axis is tilted and the seasons happen as a result of our orbit around the sun. The axis has a slight wobble and takes 25600 years more or less to complete this cycle. Were you referring to this in conjunction with the year 2012?

Is this change of tilt in any way connected to the North American election cycle ?
Do you expect the sea ice to return to Alaska ?
Will the glaciers just suddenly "grow" again ?

I expect answers of 3 times "No".

Actually the first answer is yes, news media changes story lines depending on who won elcetions.
If you want to believe scientist who do not have their work reviewed as thoroughly as a masters thesis be my guest. After they bragged on how well they "vett" their work and a major error get out like that it is clear that politics trumps science at the IPCC.
