I have a huge 30 year old pile of horse manure that i would be willing to give away to anyone willing to haul it off. Do to the size of the pile I am trying to move only dump truck loads or larger please. It is mostly horse manure with some pine shavings mixed in that I use as bedding. really good stuff when you get past the front edge. Birmingham, AL

There is a bigger and older pile of that stuff up in Washington D.C. and it's getting bigger by the minute!!!:D

When it comes to hauling large quantities of manure theres only 3 things that count...location,location,and location.

Wouldn't it be more of a bull stuff than horse stuff? Anyway, it creates a lot of hot air too.

koenicm, Look for a composting company in your area. Talk to some landscapers or lawn maintenance companies for reference. My BIL takes leaves & grass clippings from lawn companies & composts with manure/bedding. In 6 months he sells it back to the same people. He mixes all materials in about equal proportions in long winrows with his Bobcat & turns each row weekly until it stops making heat. MikeD74T

Fresh horse poo isn't real good.. too hot.. but once it composts.. it's awesome...

Wish I was closer, I'd love to get it. I'd also look for a commercial composting company in the area. You might be surprised and make a few bucks off it.

By the way, welcome to the forum.
