What are you interested in? English, Western, dressage, rodeo, etc.? There are magazines for each discipline, not to mention horsesbynet.com.

Western Horseman is the best out there with a little of everything in the horse world. Horse and Rider is another good one. If you are into performing, Performance Horse magazine is really good. The breed magazines, Quarter Horse Journal and Paint Horse Journal usually have good articles. Quarter Horse News is a really good bi-weekly magazine that gets into all aspect of performance horses.

I agree with doc about Horse and Rider. We (well, my wife /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif ) subscribes to it.

A good family magazine (IMHO) is Horse Illustrated. It covers the girls (9,11,13 and 40) and has some tidbits for me too. And I can read.
