I am also a hunter and know many good hunters who would never leave a gate open or cut a fence. It seems that most of the bad (hunters) are usually those who got a gun for Christmas and are going to go try it out by hunting anything that moves, wherever they want and usually don't even have a license. These people are most often from urban areas.

Also, if you have purchased a piece of property in the last few years, many times people who have been hunting on it for years seem to think that it is now their right to hunt it regardless of who owns it and these are the ones you have the most trouble with.

Yep! I've had tree stands stolen by these kinds of snakes! I had permission but the rancher said I'd probably see others who don't have permission because they've hunted it for years and he can't be there all the time to run them off!
