Hooking up hydraulics on 2660 FEL

I have never had any difficulty in connecting/disconnecting the FEL, but I just went to hook it up again and cannot get red, blue, white or yellow to attach to its mate. I bled the pressure off the tractor side and can easily push the nipple on the male end, but apparently the FEL side has pressure on it. What is the best way to equalize the pressure on the FEL side. I tried pushing down with the tip of a screwdriver, but no joy there.

Loosen the female fittings with two wrenches to bleed the pressure, a tool can only do some damage.
