Hood and side panel?

I ran into that same problem and after looking around There are two clips in the front of the side panels. Pull them out an then pull the side panels to the front of the tractor. After you look at how it attaches everything will become clear. I had to raise the loader to access the side panels. I have a RK24 but I'm sure they are all alike. Hope that helps.

Do the side panels serve any purpose other than a bit of protection and looks? Can I just run without them? Ya know like a real tractor . Curious if they are needed for cooling. Removing them to check the oil is my only complaint with my RK24.

Nowadays, I have to imagine that the panels are there both for cooling, as well as protection against intrusion by a branch, etc. Otherwise, they wouldn't be sealed completely with gaskets. (IMHO)

That's the same design as my Mahindra, I bunged up the decal a tiny bit when, after tugging a bit, the clips let loose and the panel bashed into the loader cylinder. I am making a note to drape a moving blanket in there from now on, there's no sense in me making it look old before its time.

Make sure you get both the clips back on. I didn't and the panel came loose dropped down and when I brought the bucket back down the hydralic fitting on the lift cylinder smashed the crap of it. Not covered under warranty. New one 165.00.
