Homemade tractor ???????????

Guys from the other site said it looks like a homemade tractor built by a skilled builder. this tractor was showcased in a gift shop in Pigeon Forge tenn in the front window of a gift shop back in the 70s 80s.....rope pull starter B & S engine

That thing is VERY cool. The 2-point hitch in back is simply fixed, right?

Lots of cool attention to detail there like the hydraulic brakes, rear PTO, etc.

Rear axle looks to be a really heavy duty cast unit, but then the front axle is kinda weak

I once saw a tractor made using a Renaud 4 banger with 5 speed manual tranny driving a GM rear with narrowed differential.
The unit was very well made with excellent sheet metal work as well.
While at that time it was very tempting I opted out as any repairs would have proven to be a nightmare. Also Renaud parts were extremely rare in this area.
Yes, some folks are very skilled but the result is an orphan.

That almost looks like a old Panzer. Setup the same way except for the transmission. I hated that hokey setup the Panzer used for a transmission.

This tractor was just sold to a John Deere lover from Cincinnati ,Ohio he restores tractors and it will NOT wind up in someone's backyard garden
