Home made warning light mount

I had some free time last week,so I decided to build a light mount for my 4231 out of scrap I had from odd jobs.I wanted something to protect the light from getting knocked off and broken.Total cost for the mount,about 4.00 for the paint,which seems to match up pretty close.I think it'll do the job...

Had to put on a 12v outlet for the light.had this laying around wasn't my first choice but it was here.....

Nice mount, one question tho, will you clear the garage door now?

Lol ,I made sure it did,clears by about 5"...the LED was only 20 bucks And very low draw and bright.

Beefy guard .. Should protect well from those low branches.

That looks to be plenty stout, if you're hitting that many low branches do you wear a helmet too? That light is not too far from your head......
